Welcome to Caples Lake Resort Blog. We’ve started this site to bring you weekly updates on activities here at Caples Lake Resort and the surrounding area. Right now the lake is thawing and we are excited to report that the low lake levels, created by last falls drawdown of the lake for emergency dam repairs, are higher than anticipated. As a result, we are hopeful that the trophy fish survived the winter freeze.

Other big news here is concerning our alternative energy system we are installing. Our solar panels are up and running and we are in testing mode for our new wind turbine. Take a moment to watch our videos about each system.
