If you’re looking for an alternative way to celebrate the 4th of July, then come on up and turn your eyes upward to see the amazing night sky at Caples Lake Resort. Star gazing at 8,000 feet is exhilarating. The 3rd quarter moon will rise July 4th around 3:30 in the afternoon. We’ll be three days shy of a full moon, so it’ll be a beautiful sight. Please visit the Griffith Observatory Sky Report Website to print a copy of the Free Sky Map report they have. The site also has great tips for star gazing.
